Artist's Comments

There is nothing more sad then seeing someone or something just waiting to be used for what he, she, or it is "made" for.

We all have a purpose.

i love this
it's great how you put it
and i love that it's not just a straight forward shot
this angle makes me happy for it
like i'll get to see it smile when someone does come to sit

great title.
love how the bench looks so eager to please.
how did u do that?
Thank you.

Just used a low f/stop (probably 1.8 or so) for a shallow DoF then used Photoshop's channel mixer to get the right tones.

y'know, i always used to draw little pictures of these moments... park benches and forest paths and streams and whatnot... This totally brings me back, and in that, you have pretty much succeeded as a great photographer with this capture.
